BENEDICTINE INTRODUCTIONS TO ADVENT - A TALK BY ABBOT MARK BARRETT ON SATURDAY 23RD NOVEMBER
Thank You for Joining Our Advent Session
We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended the first of our two talks, preparing for Advent, on Saturday, despite the challenging weather. It was a wonderful opportunity to draw on the spiritual traditions of the monastic community, join in prayer at the Abbey Church, and enjoy refreshments in the Narthex.
Abbot Mark delivered the first session of these talks on the theme of ,"Isaiah for Advent and Christmas".

We began our morning with registration and refreshments in the Abbey Church at10.30am, before moving to the Spencer Building at Worth School for an engaging talk and further exploration of our theme. The sessions concluded with Midday Prayer at 1 pm in the Abbey Church, followed by a light lunch.
Your participation made this event very special. If you would like to attend the second talk in this series, on Saturday 7th December, titled, Longing For God, delivered by Fr David Jarmy please email kohara@worth.org.uk to register. Please indicate if you would like to stay for lunch. Lunch will incur a small charge of £5.
