Important Parking Information for guests attending our celebrations on Saturday, 12th July
Due to the limited parking at Worth Abbey, we kindly ask all guests to park at Handcross Park School, unless you have been issued a parking permit for the Abbey car park or you are a Blue Badge holder.
A complimentary coach service will run from 9:30 to 10:45 am to transport guests from Handcross Park School to the Abbey. A return shuttle service will operate between 12:30 and 5:30pm, bringing guests back to the school. Drivers are welcome to drop off passengers at the Abbey before proceeding to park at Handcross Park School.
The distance between Worth Abbey and Handcross Park School is approximately 4.5 miles, with a driving time of around 10 to 12 minutes. We recommend allowing extra time in your travel plans to accommodate the transfer. Please note that visitors must access Handcross Park School via the London Road entrance, opposite Handcross Primary School. You can find the school’s location on their website.
A limited number of parking spaces for Blue Badge holders will be available within the Abbey grounds and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. For those unable to attend in person, the Mass will be livestreamed via the Worth Abbey website.
