Join Us for the High Weald Walking Festival – Guided Walks at Worth Abbey

We’re delighted to be taking part once again in the High Weald Walking Festival, running from 13–21 September 2025. This annual celebration of one of England’s most beautiful landscapes features over 50 free guided walks across Kent and Sussex and we’re proud to be among them!

Worth Abbey Guided Walks
Tuesday 16th & Thursday 18th September
Walks begin at 10:30am – please arrive by 10:00am
Meeting point: The Piazza at Worth Abbey

Led by Fr Patrick, our guided walks offer a peaceful and enriching journey through the Worth Estate, including its ancient woodlands, tranquil gardens, and historic grounds. Fr Patrick will be joined by local experts who will share insights into the estate’s trees, wildlife, and natural heritage.

Walks will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and include some uphill paths and uneven terrain, so sturdy walking shoes are recommended. Refreshments will be available from our charming Tuk-tuk on the Piazza before the walk, and afterwards, all are warmly invited to join the Monastic Community for Midday Prayer at 1:00pm.

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

These walks are very popular, so please book your place in advance at https://www.highwealdwalks.org/

We look forward to welcoming you.
