Monastic Internships at Worth Abbey: Applications Now Open
Worth Abbey is delighted to announce the next available dates for our Monastic Internship Programme, a unique opportunity for those seeking time for prayer, reflection, and spiritual exploration within the rhythm of Benedictine life.
This two‑month residential experience—offered free of charge, with full board and lodging included—invites participants to step away from the demands of everyday life and immerse themselves in the beauty, peace, and prayerful rhythm of the monastic community.
Interns live alongside the monks and take part in the daily pattern of prayer, work, and study, gaining an authentic insight into Benedictine spirituality. The programme offers space to encounter God, deepen faith, and experience community life in a setting renowned for its hospitality and stillness.
Set within the stunning surroundings of the Worth Estate, the internship also provides time to appreciate the natural beauty of the grounds, fostering a sense of renewal and connection.
