Monastic Reflections at Belmont Abbey in Herefordshire
On Saturday, 20th September, the Belmont community will host a special gathering to mark a new chapter in their journey, welcoming the Downside monks and celebrating shared hopes for the future.
Among the highlights of the day is the launch and review of An Unlikely Cornerstone, a significant new publication written by Fr Stephen Ortiger OSB, a biography by Fr Stephen Ortiger of Dom Victor Farwell, the first abbot of Worth and a pivotal figure in the history of Worth Abbey,
The book, which offers a deeply personal and reflective account of monastic life and transition, will be introduced during a dedicated session from 11:30 to 11:50am.
