Survivor Engagement & Support – Public Call for Information from the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency
The Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) is currently conducting a thematic inspection focused on survivor engagement and support across Religious Life Groups (RLGs) and dioceses.
As part of this work, they are inviting survivors to share their experiences of contact with an RLG or diocese following abuse whether recent, ongoing, or non-recent. These insights will help them better understand survivor experiences, identify good practice, and develop ways to improve support across the Church.
Although the inspection will primarily focus on the period from July 2024 onwards, survivors are welcome to share any experience they feel is relevant. Every response is valued.
