The Flower Garden at Worth: A Shared Effort in Colour
If you’ve visited Worth recently, you might have spotted some colour just by Archway Lodge.
With the help of a group of Worth School students, some of the monks have spent the summer growing sunflowers and dahlias, many of which have ended up in the Abbey Church and our Retreat Centre, St Bruno's.
The patch was originally transformed into a flower garden by Br Anthony, but it truly came back to life after Tim Atkinson, our Estate Farm Manager, guided a group of students in its rejuvenation. Thanks to their efforts, the area is now flourishing once again, with flowers growing in abundance.
Truly a Worth venture!
