Vespers in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
Sunday 19th January, 4pm, Monks in the City at St. John the Baptist church, 2 Bristol Rd, Kemptown
In this week (18‐25 January), Christians are reminded of Jesus’ prayer for his disciples that “they may be one so that the world may believe” (see John 17.21).
Monks in the City invite you to join them especially this year when we celebrate 1,700 years since the Council of Nicaea. During the Vespers service of hymns, psalms, readings and prayers, we will reaffirm the Nicaean Creed and Bishop Lindsay Urwin will preach.
Followed by light refreshments.
